An SI-Traceable Protocol for the Validation of Radiative Transfer Model-Based Reflectance Simulation

In this study, we test the ability of the Eradiate RTM to simulate the reflectance of a manufactured target given SItraceable measurements of its shape and optical properties.

We demonstrate that simulations deviate from lab measurements by less than 2%. This study has been performed in the framework of the Meteoc-4 project funded by the European Commission Horizon2020 program, in collaboration with Aalto University and National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
