Rayference Participates in ESA’s TRUTHS Mission Meeting at the Royal Observatory of Belgium

Rayference was proud to participate in the recent TRUTHS mission meeting hosted by the European Space Agency (ESA) at the Royal Observatory of Belgium.
We extend our sincere thanks to Thomas August for organizing an inspiring day filled with insightful dialogue, collaborative exchanges, and innovative ideas aimed at unlocking the full potential of TRUTHS for Earth observation and climate science.
The meeting brought together a vibrant community of Belgian experts from institutions such as BIRA, Meteo Belgium, RBINS, ROB, VITO, and the University of Liège. Together, we explored how the TRUTHS mission can support a wide range of scientific applications, reviewed potential case studies, and laid the groundwork for future developments that will enhance the mission’s impact after launch.
We’re excited to be contributing to a mission that promises to deliver unprecedented accuracy in climate and Earth observation data—a critical step forward for scientific progress and informed environmental decision-making.
📸 The day concluded with a symbolic group photo beside a stunning image of the sun—a fitting backdrop for a mission focused on precision, illumination, and clarity.
Thank you again to the Royal Observatory of Belgium for the warm welcome, and to all the participants who brought their energy and expertise to the discussion. We look forward to the next stops on the TRUTHS mission roadshow and to continued collaboration across Europe.
